Although baby Easter baskets aren’t entirely necessary because they don’t really know what is going on, they are so fun to make. I enjoy putting items in my baby’s Easter basket that they already need, but fit the cute Easter theme. Plus, now that I have 5, soon-to-be 6 kids, my kids would not allow me to NOT have a basket for their newest sibling.
Here are some of the best baby Easter basket ideas that I have used in the past. This list is geared towards the 6-18months range.

Stuffed Animals and Soft Dolls for a Baby Easter Basket
My daughter got this adorable Prayer Bunny for Christmas a few years ago and my children all love it. It says the “Now I lay me down to sleep…” prayer. I thoroughly recommend it.
I love this sooo much! My 6th baby due next month will be getting this for his baptism. I just think it is perfect. It says “The Lord is my Shepherd: I shall not want.” It is so cute.
I got these for my kiddos for this Easter. My kids are going to love them and I can tell they will be thrown around, but they are soft and safe.
These are so adorable. I got these for my 20 month old and my 4yo. They are going to actually love it! I’m also going to put each puppet in an Easter egg and it’s going to be perfect.
My son got this for Christmas this past year from his godmother and it was the perfect gift. My son is 20months old and he loves to bring it to Mass and give Jesus hugs. I love it so much.
Small Business Dolls and Plushies
I don’t have this one personally, but it is so adorable and made by one of my favorite Small Business Catholic brands called Shining Light Dolls. I have it linked to Amazon because Shining Light Dolls is currently sold out.
–Saint Plush Dolls from Shining Light Dolls
This is another Shining Light Doll brand plush dolls. I have 4 of them currently. We have the three pictured (Sacred Heart of Jesus mini, St. Francis of Assisi regular size, and Mother Mary with baby Jesus mini) and we have a St. Joseph mini as well. My kids love these plush dolls so much. They sleep with them every night. They have told me that when they have bad dreams, snuggling these dolls and saying a prayer helps them to be comforted and I love this.
–Jesus Plush Rattle Doll from Be A Heart
This is another item that I don’t actually own, but I’ve seen it and looks perfect for a baby’s Easter basket. It is a rattle and a plush= best of both worlds for babies.
Teethers for Baby Easter Baskets
–Rabbit Egg Rattle Teething Toy
–Silicone Saint Bracelet from Chews Life
We have one of these and my last 2 babies have loved it immensely. They love chewing on it and playing with it as we pray the Rosary. It has definitely come in clutch for little fingers.
–Natural Rubber Teethers from Shining Light Dolls
These are so adorable and I cannot wait to order one for my newest little one’s Baptism in May.
I also love that they are also made by Shining Light Dolls and are made with natural rubber.

Wearables/Snuggables
These are great to keep track of wear baby’s pacifier and it’s chew safe as well. I really love the colors on these ones. Pacifiers are also a great item to put in your baby’s Easter basket. I put them in my in son’s basket last year along with the pacifier clips.
–Catholic-themed Muslin Blankets
I love using muslin blankets on my babies and also using them as make-shift nursing covers as well. They are great for those warm spring and summer days that a light blanket is ideal. These are especially great because of the Catholic-themed designs.

Miscellaneous Toys
All of my kiddos have loved these. I haven’t had any problem with the quality and they aren’t too loud or obnoxious.
This is the best idea ever. My kids have ruined many tissue boxes by pulling all the tissues out. I love this so much and so do my kids.
How can you go wrong with a rainfall stick? And they are perfect for the spring.
Snacks
My son loves these and because he has a dairy allergy they are ideal for him. I find them tasty as well and so do my other kids.
–Little Bellies Organic Sweet Potato Pick-Me Sticks
These are also dairy free and quite delightful.
–Annie’s Organic Bunny Grahams
I love the bunny-themed treats to put in my kids baskets. Additionally, they are also dairy-free.
Conclusion
Easter baskets for babies my not be necessary, they are so much fun to put together especially when your other kids have items in their baskets. I do try to have a few religious items and a few secular Easter/spring items. Some years I have shopped purely at Dollar Tree because that is what we could afford at the time.
