Hello! I am Stefanie, I have 4 children and am a passionate Catholic mother. I want 15, but I’m happy to take however many souls God decides to put in my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years and have been happily married since 2015. We had 2 two sons, a daughter, another son, and unfortunately miscarried our fifth child.
We lived paycheck-to-paycheck for our first 4 years of marriage, spent over a $1000 a month on food alone every month because I didn’t cook, lived in a small cluttered home that we could never keep clean, and I worked 30+ hours a week as a nurse while having children every 18 months. I have never been very good at the domestic arts of cooking, cleaning, or even child-rearing, but when I was pregnant with my 4th child my husband and I decided it was time for me to stay home with the kids. Although it was a very difficult transition, I do not regret it for one second.
I have learned new skills and tricks of the homemaking trade. We are becoming more self-sufficient, budget-smart, and clutter-free-ish. As we have more children, we have come to love a peaceful slow-living life. We enjoy bringing our Faith into our every day living as well. I love reading books about great Catholic women especially Catholic mothers and books about how to establish and maintain good healthy marriages. I also enjoy following Catholic influencers, small businesses (especially Catholic ones) and organization gurus on Instagram.
My hope with this blog is to help the struggling wives, mothers, and anyone that did not inherit the domestic gene.
Can’t wait to read more!
