One of the best things we can do for our kids is to get them outside. I love using these Easter basket ideas to facilitate that. I have 5 kids under 9 years-old, 4 of them are boys and so the nature-themed gifts really get their attention and they thoroughly enjoy them. These toys are generally open-ended and help spark their imagination and curiosity as well.
Most of these ideas are going to be geared towards kids in the 3-10 age group. These ideas are tried and true for my family and I hope they help give you some ideas for your own kids.

Conclusion
Easter baskets can be a great catalyst to encouraging our kids on getting outside. I’ve been reading the book Until the Street Lights Come On by Ginny Yurich about the benefits of getting the kids outside and it has been eye opening. This is what sparked my ideas for this basket. Plus I have 4 boys who thoroughly enjoy the toys that help them investigate nature, more specifically bugs.
