Finding Christmas gifts for toddlers can seem easy until you take into consideration the clutter aspect. My clutter threshold (or how much clutter I can handle without becoming overwhelmed) is pretty low. The ideal gifts for my kids would be religious based, consumable, or something I would enjoy doing with them.
Here are some of our favorite toddler Christmas gifts that will give you some tried and true great gift ideas for the toddlers in your life.

Interactive Board Books
We like board books for our toddlers because they really do stand the test of time. They make great Christmas gifts for toddlers. It it’s interactive then it’s even better. My toddlers can never pass up a book with poppers, lift-the-flaps, or fur. Here are a few of our favorites:
Red Barn/Yellow Bee/Green Frog/Blue Boat
Poke-A-Dot: The Wheels on the Bus Wild Safari

Board Games
My kids have been on a real board game kick all year. I love board games, especially the toddler ones that keep the kids occupied for a good 30-60min. They are the best. They also teach great skills too.
Hi Ho Cherry-o– teaches counting
Bluey Scavenger Hunt– teaches counting, colors, shapes, language skills, etc.
Don’t Wake Daddy– teaches counting and the importance of being quiet (just kidding).
Montessori Wooden Board Game (similar to Kerplunk!)- teaches causes and effect.

Card Games
Card games are definitely fun, with the caveat that we always lose the cards. Which is definitely annoying. They are still fun and work the clutter headache. They are fantastic Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers.
Puzzles
Ravensburger! Bluey, Frozen, Thomas and Friends, etc. These are by far my favorite brand of puzzles. They are great quality and I just love the pictures that come on them. They are sturdy and beautiful.
Wooden Toddler Puzzles These puzzles are sturdy because they are made of wood and they are the perfect size for toddlers.
Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles I also love the wooden jigsaw puzzles as well because the cardboard ones can fall apart pretty easily, especially when you have a teething toddler.
Open-ended Toys
Open-ended toys are toys that can be used in a variety of ways without rules or limitations. Our favorite open-ended toys include:
Magnetiles– which are magnetic building squares that all my kids, even my one year old, play with every day, ALL DAY LONG. They are amazing. I really enjoy playing with them too.
Legos– You cannot go wrong with Legos… unless you have small children who want to put everything in their mouth. Right now they are only for my older children. BUT… There are Duplos which are larger Lego blocks. My kids, even my 8yo really enjoys playing with the Duplos too.
Costumes
I get most of my costumes either second-hand from consignment stores or off of my local Facebook Buy Nothing Group. I have 5 kids and costumes can be sooo expensive. When our kids have their All Saints Day Party at school, I usually make the costumes. Check out this article if you want more information on how we do Halloween and All Saints Day. My children use these costumes more than just on Halloween and All Saints Day. They love walking around the house as Spiderman, Dinosaurs, and princesses.
I also highly recommend buying costumes from Little Adventures because their costumes are comfortable, machine washable, super durable and adorable. I absolutely love them! The picture above is my daughter’s favorite costume by Little Adventures.
Consumables
Art Supplies
Cars, trains and animals- My toddlers have always enjoyed the Little People toys especially. Christmas specifically, we love to bring out our Fisher-Price Nativity Scene.
Clothes and Christmas Pajamas
My MIL typically does all the clothing shopping for the kids because we don’t need a whole lot and she gets great joy from clothes shopping for my kiddos.
I love giving my kids Christmas pajamas though. We started getting just buffalo plaid because it always matches and we just had the sizes we need every year as our kids grow up. Here are the ones we usually buy and they are very good quality.
Religious Toys for Toddlers
Silicone Rosaries– ChewsLife has some of the most amazing silicone rosaries for children. I buy most of my rosaries through them for my kids, my godchildren, and even myself. They are beautiful and very durable.
Religious Stuffies- Shining Light Dolls has some of our favorite religious stuffies. They have a wide variety of Catholic Saints. They have them for every size and price point as well. We love them!
We have received a few from Amazon as well that are so nice and durable as well. Here is a Jesus doll that we received. And this is a Mary doll that we also love.
Saint Blocks– These are adorable gifts/stocking stuffers. You can give them their patron saints. They are fantastic collectables.
Religious Puzzles– I’m mentioning Shining Light Dolls again because they have fantastic religious puzzles. I love them, my kids love them, and they have so many to choose from.
Conclusion
I love Christmas shopping. I love finding gifts that don’t add too much clutter, are consumable, or educational. If you have any more ideas, leave a comment below. I firmly believe that you cannot go wrong with any of the ideas above for the toddlers in your life.
